New Member Information

EAA 127 is a group of people who come from varied backgrounds. We have pilots, student pilots, mechanics, homebuilders, owners, renters, dreamers....

All members are encouraged to get involved in the chapter. We welcome members to give presentations, coordinate activities, and head committees. Articles in the newsletter are written by chapter members. Ample social time is allowed for members to discuss what they are building and flying. Members alternate duties in hosting lunch at the meetings. Project visits are made when the builder is ready for visitors. Young Eagle flights are primarily flown in June but a list of local residents who would be interested in flying is available upon request from the young eagles coordinator. In the summer months, we offer a planned fly-out every month. Some of our members participate in aviation related community service and K-12 educational outreach. We are open to new ideas and opportunities.

We have both an EAA sanctioned technical counselor and a flight advisor.
